Traffic Control Conference
U.S. Embassy, Montevideo, invites Brigadier
General José Vilardo

Uruguay’s Civil Aviation and Aviation
Infrastructure Director, Brigadier General José Vilardo,
attended the second annual Civil-Military Air Traffic Control
Conference in Warsaw, Poland, at the invitation of the US
Embassy. Brigadier General Vilardo was accompanied by Dr.
Luís Giorello, Technical Advisor to the Civil Aviation
and Aviation Infrastructure Directorate, and a US Embassy
The conference is the largest of its kind
in the world, with more than 60 countries and 100 organizations
represented. Delegates share ideas regarding the operation
of air traffic control systems and discuss possible cooperative
measures to enhance airspace traffic management and control.
The conference is sponsored by the Air Traffic Control Association,
the Government of Poland, and the U.S. Government.
