On July 8, Ambassador Martin J. Silverstein presented a lecture at the Union League of Philadelphia during his trip to the United States. At the invitation of Dr. Abelardo Lechter, President of the Pan American Association of Philadelphia, the Ambassador shared his experience as the U.S. Ambassador to Uruguay with members of the Association. Over fifty local leaders enjoyed the Ambassador’s engaging presentation, including business leaders and representatives from the Philadelphia city government. The presentation provided the audience with an opportunity to learn more about Uruguay and U.S.-Uruguay bilateral relations.
