Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America Are Now Part of the Uruguayan American School

The UAS Board voted to sponsor the programs

The Uruguayan American School Board has recently voted to officially sponsor Cub Scout Pack 3908 and Boy Scout Troop 908, a non profit organization that teaches boys of all ages many different skills that will prepare them to become honest young men and good citizens in their community.

The program is open to all boys of all nationalities residing in Uruguay and by agreement with local Scouts to Uruguayan boys that go to school at UAS. They meet once a week at UAS and participate in a number of outdoor activities. The Cub Scouts, are boys 6-10 years old. They go on family campouts once or twice per year. The Boy Scouts, are boys 11-18 years of age. Weather permitting, they go on camping trips once a month.
