The American Food Festival is on at the Sheraton Hotel

The flavor and aroma of truly American favorite recipes from every region of the United States preapared by Chef Oswaldo Ceccenello

The Sheraton Hotel in Montevideo is currently hosting the "Festival Gastronómico de los EE.UU.", featuring some of the most delicious American culinary temptations.

Chef Oswaldo Ceccenello, from the Westin Century Plaza Hotel & Spa in Los Angeles, has been invited once again to prepare a vast variety of traditional recipes such as Blue Fin Tuna Tartar, Caesar Salad, Blue Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms, BBQ Spare Ribs, Fried Chicken Southern Style, Louisiana Crab Cake, Carrot Cake, Apple Crumble Bars, Rum Raisin Caramel Tarts, and assorted Cheese Cake. Live music by the Memphis Jazz Band complements this gastronomic treat.

The event is sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Montevideo, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Uruguay - U.S. Chamber of Commerce, American Airlines, Pagnifique, Nativa, and Buquebus.

The American Food Festival is on at Las Carretas restaurant in the Sheraton Hotel till Sunday, December 12.
